Mad at myself that I waited 100k miles to put these in. Truck sits on a four-6" RC elevator, truck rode ok with RC shocks, merely these Fox 2.five up front paired with RR 2.0's in the back are a night and day divergence in ride quality. Truck is much stiffer in the best manner possible, every medium to large size bump/pothole/variation in the road feels super planted. Gone are the days of teeth rattling trails and a squirrley dorsum end.

These shocks are great and handled awesome off-road. The couple complaints I practise have are I expected these socks to soak up all the bumps and they do not. Expect the smaller bumps in the road to exist more noticeable. However these shocks handle larger bumps significantly ameliorate than stock shocks, and taking them off-road my truck feels very smooth and planted. Far superior to stock shocks. I did find that my acme hats were clocked incorrectly and Fox technical support was no help. They wanted me to transport them to another shock dealer to take the whole stock revoked. You as well accept to click the spring a special way to gain proper axle clearance. Non a large deal, just it's frustrating that it's not mentioned anywhere. You will not be able to adapt the summit on these with a spanner while they are installed on the vehicle. You will demand a spring compressor to adjust the height. One other thing to mention is I did observe a break in menses. They were very strong on initial install and softened up after almost 500 miles.

Customer Question Can y'all run these with the 4inch BDS kit? I'm confused on why BDS offers a vi inch parcel with coils simply not a four inch for 2009-2013? Would these be the same coils as in the 6 inch kit from BDS? Just set up at 4 inch of lift here?

Asked by: Jmanyam199 - eleven/12/2020

Customer Answer These coilovers are built by Fox themselves, and will work with a BDS 4" elevator kit. You may accept to do some fine-tuning of their ride heights to get right at 4" of elevator, but they should come come out of the box pre-set at 4" and capable of up to six".

Customer Question I see in your answers to the previous questions, y'all say these are set at a ride tiptop of 4" out of the box. However, In the clarification at the bottom it says they are set at half dozen". Which of these is right?

Asked by: Kevin - 2/ix/2022

Customer Answer Fox changed how they gear up these coilovers up since those Q&As. The coilovers are set at 6" of lift out of the box, and you would need to adjust their preload collars down by ane" of thread to hit a iv" elevator superlative.

Customer Question Are they able to adjust below 4". Lets say to two.v-3" of lift. I'm debating between pull a fast one on and halo for level currently but may install a BDS iv" lift kit downwards the road.

Asked by: Cameron - ix/8/2019

Customer Answer Unfortunately, these coilovers cannot be adapted beneath 4", due to potentially losing too much tension on their coil springs.

Customer Question Would these coilovers work with a 2wd?

Asked by: Cory - 11/fifteen/2019

Customer Answer They'll physically fit and role simply fine. Yous do have to go on in listen that they'll provide slightly higher ride heights on an RWD/2WD truck, since the ride height ratings are specifically for heavier 4WD F150s.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2013 f150 2wd

Asked by: Hoyt - 3/17/2020

Customer Answer As long as your truck is equipped with a 4-half dozen" lift, these coilovers will technically commodities up to an RWD F150. The merely potential bug are that their ride height is rated for the 4WD F150s and their valving is for the 4WD trucks, so you may stop upwards a smidge taller with a fleck stiffer of a ride than the 4WD F150s.

Customer Question What's the difference between the two coilover replacements as well price? Is one only BDS branded?

Asked past: John Tagle - 7/2/2021

Customer Answer The biggest difference is that the BDS coilovers are pre-set up at their four" or half dozen" ride height settings, while the Fox coilovers are not and will take aligning depending on what elevator kit you're installing them on.
